Vianney Bitharo (Burundi) -  2014

"My school's graduation [will be in] December of this year...
Now I am writing my Master's thesis...I am still continuing my teaching ministry at my local church in Kanyosha, Bujumbura.
But once in a while I am helping a pastor who is involved
in planting a church some 20 km outside of town."

YVETTE MUKARUKUNDO (Rwanda) - 2013

Yvette is a nurse who works with preemies.  During our 2010 trip to Rwanda, Yvette showed us her hospital and introduced us to her husband and children in her home. She smiles warmly, showing you the tenderness in which she caresses the tiniest of human beings in the hospital where she works.  She cares for the preemie babies and teaches their mothers how to tend to their needs.  Through this, she is touching the lives in a way that words alone cannot convey.
